Explorers Take Part in “Out of Darkness” Walk
Community Service
Thursday, 09 October 2008 13:12

Team members, coaches and parents of LSWR took part in the “Out of Darkness” walk last Sunday. The event is designed to raise awareness and funds for the fight against suicide and depression. Starting at the Art Museum the walk took the team along scenic Martin Luther King Drive before turning around near Montgomery Drive. All in all 20 plus members of the LSWR family walked the 5 mile course in the support of this great cause. The Flanagan family graciously hosted a very hungry team after the event. Thank you to everyone who came out to support this very worth cause.

La Salle Taking it to the Next Level-Collegian

The men’s and women’s rugby teams are under new leadership this season, as both teams hired new coaches over the summer. Lou Gana, the head coach of the men’s team, looks to take the team to new territory, while Head coach Ali El-Kerdi looks to keep the winning tradition here with the women’s team. See the entire story here.
