This past Sunday, members of the La Salle Women’s Rugby team attended the Second Annual Stroll in the Park fundraiser walk for a large non-profit in Northeast Philadelphia. Seven girls donated their time and money to walk for SPIN,Inc., or Special People In Northeast. All proceeds to the walk went toward the construction of a special needs play park at the SPIN, Inc. offices in Northeast Philadelphia. The two-mile walk took place at Pennypack Park along the Delaware River. The Explorers were happy to help the non-profit and look forward to future community service opportunities!
