La Salle Wins at Home, 39-5 Over Bloomsburg

LSWR moved to 2-0 in their league season with a decisive victory over visiting Bloomsburg 39-5. La Salle and Bloomsburg were both 1-0 in league playing going into the match after large victories over Kutztown University. However the Explorer's defense was simply too stingy for the visitors. The explorers put up their best result of the season without starting scrumhalf Jessica Wallace.  

La Sallle began their weekend with a fantastic team dinner graciously hosted by the McKenna family. Our thanks to the McKennas for openning their home and feeding 20+ hungry rugby players. Following dinner the team went to nearby theater and watched the new rugby movie Forever Strong.

Lou Gana, the head coach of the men’s team, looks to take the team to new territory, while Head coach Ali El-Kerdi looks to keep the winning tradition here with the women’s team.
