La Salle traveled to State College this past weekend to face a mixed PSU side composed of A and B side players. LSWR made the home team work for every try and were down 33-14 at the end of the first half. After just missing several opportunities at the end of the half to narrow the lead further, the Explorers were unable to stop Penn State's second half onslaught, dropping the contest 54-14. Despite a dominating performance in the set pieces and in channel one by La Salle, Penn State was able to take advantage of La Salle's poor second half tackling in the mid field and seal the win.
