All Smiles: Nicole Henriquez, Lexi Piazza, Jennifer White and
Annie Korp After LSWR's Third League Win

La Salle raced into their Fall Break with a 3-0 record in EPRU Division II league play. LSWR started their fall season with a game for returning players  versus nationally ranked Rutgers. The Explorers finished their pre-season by testing out new combinations and rookies in the annual Pumpkinfest Tournament.

With the preseason behind them, LSWR started their league season by traveling to a injury plagued ESU where they earned a 20-5 victory. They followed up by hosting Kutztown and continued their winning streak versus the Poconos based team with a 30-5 win. La Salle tightened up their defense and set pieces in their third victory at Bryn Mawr. The Explorers bested their local rival 25-0.

La Salle Taking it to the Next Level-Collegian

The men’s and women’s rugby teams are under new leadership this season, as both teams hired new coaches over the summer. Lou Gana, the head coach of the men’s team, looks to take the team to new territory, while Head coach Ali El-Kerdi looks to keep the winning tradition here with the women’s team. See the entire story here.
