La Salle battled a tough Georgertown team to advance to the MARFU Championship game. LSWR scored three second half tries in the 15-0 victory. La Salle will face EPRU rival Temple University in the final.

La Salle Taking it to the Next Level-Collegian
The men’s and women’s rugby teams are under new leadership this season, as both teams hired new coaches over the summer. Lou Gana, the head coach of the men’s team, looks to take the team to new territory, while Head coach Ali El-Kerdi looks to keep the winning tradition here with the women’s team.
