La Salle Falls To West Chester 46-5

The Explorers fell to West Chester 46-5 in a game of two halves this past weekend. La Salle looked up to the task early in the game, trailing only 15-5 after 40 minutes. Hard running by West Chester and poor LSWR tackling allowed West Chester to open up the game in the second half. The game was the last opportunity to test several young players against high level competition before nationals. La Salle will face Kutztown University in their lone home game of the season this Friday, 7PM at McCarthy Stadium on campus.

La Salle Taking it to the Next Level-Collegian

The men’s and women’s rugby teams are under new leadership this season, as both teams hired new coaches over the summer. Lou Gana, the head coach of the men’s team, looks to take the team to new territory, while Head coach Ali El-Kerdi looks to keep the winning tradition here with the women’s team.
