Explorers Open League Season with 66-0 Victory |

La Salle opened up their league season with a 66-0 romp over The College of New Jersey. The Explorers signaled their intentions early when junior Brittany McKenna returned the open kick off for score underneath the posts. La Salle's early season injury bug has given first year players ample opportunity to get on the field, with four players entering the starting lineup for the contest vs TCNJ. They'll need all the experience they can get this coming Sunday when they face a friendly versus DI national champions Penn State. |

ESU spoiled La Salle's home opener by besting the Explorers 24-19. The game was sloppy at times, with La Salle controlling possession and territory but unable to convert line breaks and hounded by penalties. ESU brought a potent back triangle to the game and looked to utilize their kicking game early and often. La Salle's inexperience back triangle did well with the kicking game but was unable to cope with the speed out wide during phase play. |

La Salle opened their Fall season with a solid showing at Philadelphia Women's RFC Pumpkinfest Tournament. La Salle opened the tournament with a solid performance vs the University of Pennselvanyia before losing a tough match to the University of Maryland at the end of Saturday. On Sunday the Explorers ended on a high note by handily beating James Madison. Scores and more to come. |
