LSWR defeated Rutgers 32-10 Friday night in New Brunswick. The Explorers found their rhythm early, despite missing starting scrumhalf Jessica Wallace, flanker Pattie Flanagan and wing/center Maria Muscara. Rutgers punished La Salle for letting up early in the second half before the Explorers regained the momentum, scoring three more unanswered tries. |

Maria Muscara recently played with the Atlantis 7s team during the Trinidad 7ss tournament. The Atlantis 7s team is well known for traveling across the country and world to expose emerging 7s starts to higher level competition.

Three La Salle Players Named to All Tournament Team |

Three La Salle players were named to the all tournament team following last weekend's MARFU U23 round robin tournament. Nicole Muraglia, Allison Floyd, Brittany McKenna were selected as the best at their position from the VRU, PRU, EPRU and MARFU teams who played this past weekend. Allison Floyd and Brittany McKenna were selected to the team at back row, despite normally playing second row and full back for LSWR. |

 Members of La Salle Women's Rugby were back in Philly on Monday doing service in honor of Martin Luther King Day. LSWR helped clean and paint at the Chalmers Park recreation center located in the Allegheny West section of North Philadelphia. Members of the team helped clean the recreation center's exterior, raking leaves, picking up trash etc. Other members picked up a brush and helped paint in a variety of areas.

Four Represent LSWR at U19 All Star Event |

| Four members of La Salle Women's Rugby recently participated in the U19 Invitational National All Star Championships. The event was held November 20th and 21st in Ft Lauderdale, Florida. The INASC pits all Star teams from the seven territorial unions and the U20 national team developmental side. Three LSWR players represented the Mid Atlantic Rugby Football Union during the event. Brittany McKenna, Nicole Muraglia and Pattie Flanagan were part of 1-1 MARFU weekend. |
